CCLC Assisted Living Renovation
Country Club at La Cholla undertook an intensive renovation of their existing assisted living wing to convert one floor to memory care.
Persons living with dementia need specialized environments to support both safety and places where residents can participate in focused, engaging activities. Our client converted 30 existed assisted living apartments into 20 new memory care suites, a new dining room, and a new bar area for social activities. Working within the existing building structure, the dining space was opened up to allow views into adjacent activity spaces because residents are more likely to engage if they can see where other activities are occurring.
The renovated common areas and apartments have upgraded security and more accessible bathing areas. Finishes, doors, and lighting were upgraded throughout to provide a gracious, welcoming environment.
